Wolfenden Concrete wins Innovation Award at Pendle Business Awards with AgriStride

Our second consecutive win, recognising our commitment to practical, long-lasting solutions that deliver real on-farm results.

We’re proud to share that AgriStride has been recognised with the Innovation Award at the 2025 Pendle Business Awards, our second consecutive year taking home a win.

It’s more than just a trophy for us. This award represents our commitment to doing things properly, finding better ways to solve real on-farm challenges, and delivering lasting value for farmers.

A night to remember
The awards ceremony at The Fence Gate in Burnley was a fantastic evening. We caught up with familiar faces, met new ones, and celebrated alongside so many impressive local businesses, each with their own stories, challenges, and successes. The sense of community and shared resilience in Pendle is something we’re proud to be part of.

What innovation means for AgriStride
We don’t see innovation as chasing trends or launching flashy ideas. For us, it’s about listening to farmers and creating practical, durable solutions that make life better for livestock and easier for the people who care for them.

Over the past year, we’ve introduced new products like the AgriStride Vario, refined our existing Classic design, and strengthened the systems that help farmers improve animal welfare, reduce running costs, and future-proof their infrastructure. Every improvement has come from real-world feedback, not guesswork.

Our hybrid flooring range is a perfect example: built to last for decades, designed to reduce lameness, improve hoof health, and cut ammonia emissions, all while being flexible enough to adapt to different livestock needs. That’s innovation that works where it matters most, in the barn, day after day.

A team effort
This award belongs to the entire AgriStride team. From design and testing to installation and aftercare, every step is handled by people who care about getting it right. We’re also grateful to the farmers and partners who trust us, challenge us, and share their feedback, you help us keep raising the bar.

Looking ahead
Winning two years in a row doesn’t mean we’re done. If anything, it’s a reminder to keep pushing forward, to keep asking the right questions, improving our systems, and staying focused on solutions that deliver real results for UK agriculture.

We’ve got more in the pipeline, and as always, our promise is simple: no gimmicks, no shortcuts, just well-made systems designed to last.

Thank you to the Pendle Business Awards team for hosting another fantastic event, and congratulations to all the other finalists and winners. And to everyone who’s supported us, customers, suppliers, colleagues, and friends, we’re proud to be building better farming solutions together.
