£14M grant opens soon – a big opportunity for Scottish Farmers
With up to 100% capital grants available through the new Future Farming Investment Scheme, now’s the time to plan infrastructure upgrades that boost efficiency and sustainability.
Attention Scottish farmers – there’s a major funding boost on the horizon.
The Future Farming Investment Scheme (FFIS) opens for applications from 14th July to 22nd August 2025, offering one of the most generous support packages we’ve seen in years. With up to 100% capital grant funding available, this is a rare chance to invest in meaningful infrastructure upgrades that improve efficiency, cut emissions, and future-proof your farm.
What’s on offer
This £14 million Scottish Government fund is designed to improve productivity while driving environmental change on farm. Eligible businesses could receive:
- £5,000 for farms ≤ 30 ha
- £10,000 for farms 30–150 ha
- £20,000 for farms > 150 ha
Better still, there’s no minimum application amount, meaning farms and crofts of any size can benefit.
What projects qualify?
While it’s still to be confirmed whether AgriStride hybrid flooring will be included in the FFIS eligible items list, the scheme targets investments that:
- Enhance sustainability
- Improve animal welfare
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions
- Boost operational efficiency
That aligns perfectly with what we do at AgriStride. Our hybrid flooring has been shown to reduce ammonia emissions by up to 60%, support better hoof health, and help increase productivity, all while delivering durable, low-maintenance performance for decades.
Why act now
Farmers face rising costs, tighter regulations, and growing environmental responsibilities. Grants like FFIS give you the capital to make the right improvements now, without adding pressure to cash flow. Even if AgriStride products aren’t yet confirmed as eligible, it’s worth exploring your options and we’re here to help you do that.
